In October 2017 Winchester Council upgraded their corporate website to a simplified design with a rearranged homepage so that information the citizens use most is easier to find and access.
Online Tasks have greater prominence with an improved UX like for - Payments, Find when you bin is collected, Manage your Council Tax online and more. Clicking on 'More Tasks' displays even more options, dividing directorate services into easy to use sign posting that encourages channel shift to the website.
Together with other calls to action the new responsive website design is streamlined for an improved customer experience with reduced scrolling, improved and optimised content publishing and quick performance on mobile devices like phones and tablets.
