The Museum has Full Accreditation status from the government's Museums, Libraries and Archives Council. Web Labs deployed a CMS with complex structure and sophisticated branding.

Technology Town Choose Web Labs

Reading Borough Council is a Unitary Authority located in the heart of the Thames Valley serving a population of 148,000. Situated along the M4 corridor makes Reading an excellent choice for corporates such as Prudential and Veritas to base their UK headquarters.


Reading Borough Council chose Web Labs solutions to meet the challenge of supporting the delivery of superb customer service whilst improving efficiency. The solutions were chosen as they were able to fulfil the following objectives:

  • Cost Effective Content Management Systems
  • Published forms must meet WCAG Accessibility Standards
  • Easily Integrate with ‘back office' systems

Reading Borough Council have deployed the Web Labs enterprise content management system ‘Content Master' and the enterprise e-Forms system ‘Forms Master' enabling the Council to satisfy the needs of several departments that deliver over 700 diverse business processes.  The ability to edit and publish content means a more immediate and improved customer service.


E-forms are a major part of our website, giving our citizens a secure and convenient way of contacting the council. The Web Labs enterprise e-Forms system ‘FormsMaster' was delivered within our original budget and met all of the original objectives.

  We have deployed FormsMaster on our external web sites and our corporate Intranet to improve internal communications reduce paperwork and make further savings to date we have built over 200 e-Forms which are available for all Web Labs Customers to use and adapt for their own needs.
