The Client: As a membership organisation the LGA has placed a premium on effective information provision with local authorities. A major component of this is the LGA web site - established in 1997. This initial LGA web site was a flat HTML and the large and often dynamic content on the site meant that a database driven Content Management System was required. This was provided by Web-Labs Ltd and the LGA intranet is being developed on the same platform.

The Client: Preston City Council is one of the largest District Councils in the UK with 1500 employees and a annual budget of some £80m.
